Hi, my name is Galina and I am a Lead Product Designer & Design Strategist at Deloitte. Previously I worked as UX/UI Lead Designer at Capital One, the Washington Post, Gannett Digital, AOL, and a couple of other companies and startups.

Philosophy

I am passionate to create human centered design using Design Thinking and Service Design Blueprint methodologies. I have experience of designing large scale customer and agent facing platforms. I advocate for creating efficiencies through adopting agile product development cycles and components based framework.

Love for building products that matter

With focus on innovation, I strive to build the most viable, desirable & feasible products. I follow strategic phases of design process:

  • Discovery: research; understanding product intent; create customer journeys; facilitate service design blueprinting and design thinking workshops to help frame the problem and to co-create a product direction.

  • Rapid prototypes: facilitate & participate in white boarding sessions, create low fidelity solutions that can be validated;

  • Iterations, Validation & Delivery: I work closely with product & dev to create high fidelity prototypes & user flows, conduct user testing & synthesize the results to deliver best in class human centered UX.

Problem solving mindset

I have natural curiosity coupled with love for solving problems on different levels: process, features and product roadmaps. I enjoy creating efficiencies and generating ideas that help solve problems beyond what an app should look like or how it should function.
